Winding up someone’s estate is usually an emotional experience. Our aim is to deal with the legal work in a practical and understanding manner. Caroline Mahoney deals with most of our probate work and as she specialises in this field she is able to handle it quickly and efficiently.

What it costs
This depends on the size of the estate, the number and nature of the assets and whether there is tax to pay. The work is charged on an hourly basis- we do not (as many other firms do) make an extra charge based on the value of the estate.

We should be able to give you a broad estimate at the outset which will be revised (upwards or downwards) as matters proceed.
